Health week in Brisbane was inaugurated by the Governor of Queensland, Sir Leslie Wilson. He declared that Groat Britain had done more to jjwhiprove the health of the world than r ‘ jeny other country. The Student Christian Movement within Sydney University declares that the students’ song-book is “a blot on the University.” Professor John Anderson suggests the dropping of festival week, and says the songbook is salsfeious and not witty.
