NO CHANGE IN POLICY QUESTIONS IN COMMONS (British Official Wireless.) Rec. 10 a.in. RUGBY, April 12. Asked for an assurance that before the Government was committed to any slops designed to secure an early return of Britain to the gold standard opportunity would be given for a discussion of the subject by the House of Commons, Mr. Neville Chamber Jain said the House was well aware of the general policy of the Government on the question, and that policy would not bo changed without ample opportunity for discussion. When asked whether the considerable increase in the stock of gold had anything to do with the Government’s policy, the Chancellor replied in the negative.
