A CHANGE OF NAME

(To the Editor of the Herald.) Sir,—Mach impression may be wrought, by a name, in spite of Shakespeare’s declaration: “What's in a. name. . . !” But names will always impress the impressionable. Good Friday! Why not God’s Friday? How applicable upon reflection! How true in every phase of thought! iso let us think of the following Friday as God’s Friday—a Friday set aside, for reverent devotion. Wo see the Cross, we view the Hill! In memory the scene Jives still! And who would waste that day in play! If in their minds ’tis God’s Friday! Too many seek the countryside— The sea—the beach'! To set aside And demonstrate that awful Day! Or contemplate ’(is God’s Friday! Yours, etc., A.K.
