CARNERA CAN’T PAY
STILL HAS EMILIA’S LOVE LONDON, April 4. Primo Camera, according to a message front Naples, says he would have- defended the breach of promise action which resulted in Emilia Torsini obtaining a verdict against him for £-1200, but he had lost money in unlucky speculations and cannot pay the damages. He declares that he does not feel guilty towards Emilia. If he said anything indiscreet, so did thousands of others without implying marriage, lie had. told her Hint he could not marry until his boxing career was over. Mrs. Tersini says that she and Emilia are still fond of Camera, who apparently still loves Emilia. “1. feel that they will come, together again if people leave them alone,” she added, “lie is a dear hoy and the soul of honor. Emilia would have cut herself to pieces for him. Must, she wait until his boxing career is over?”
Camera, detailing his ambition to win the world championship, declares that he intends to continue boxing for many years.
