DISQUALIFICATION RESENTED (Pur Press Association.) CIIRI'STOIIURCII, this day. The objections of (lie Otago Amateur Athletic Centre to the action of the starter, Mr M. Leadbeater, in disqualifying a competitor in the New Zealand championships, were discussed by (he Canterbury centre. Mr Loadbeutor said he had adhered strictly to tho rules of the New Zealand association. The centre decided to write to Otago regretting the attitude it had taken up, and asking for the withdrawal of remarks reflecting on the starter.
