THE Kansas doctor recently credited with having brought 4500 babies into the world is not getting, away with that ;as a record in obstetrics. Friends of Dr. C. B. Oliver, Chatham, Ont., declare that, in his 42 years of medical practice in and around Chatham, ho has officiated at no less than 5300 births.

Dr. Oliver's, avgrage of. maternity cases in the 42 years is 126 annually. In the last IS years his.average was 195 a year and for the past 20 years he has officiated at the birth of a .baby every other day.
