OBITUARY

MR. J. S. (HONE) HAGUE After an illness of only a little over a week, the death occurred on Monday evening in a, private hospital in Gisborne pf Mr. John Sargisson (Hone) Hague at the early age of 22 years. The deceased, who had been & member of the Gisborne staff of the Bank of New South Wales since last .October, was educated at the Napier Boys’ High School. He-joined the bank in Hastings and -was later transferred to Napier, where he remained for several years. Though the late Mr, Hague had been in Gisborne for only, a short time,' lie had Made many friends, by whom ho will be greatly missed. Ho was the second son of Mr. and Mrs. A., W. Hague, Wairoa, to whom the sympathy of a wide circle of friends will be extended. The deceased was also a nephew of Mr. C. M.:. Sargisson, who at one time was accountant of the Gisborne branch of the Bank of New South Wales, and who is now manager of the Feilding branch.

, The funeral of the late Mr. Hague was to have taken plage in Wairoa this afternoon.
