A defended, ciyil claim between shepherds for the return of a sheepdog was heard by Mr. P. 11. Harper, S.M., m the' Magistrate’s Court to-day, tlj.e plaintiff being Gordon Moore (Mr. L. T. Burnard) and the defendant Victor Greaves (Mr. 'S. V: BeaufciyJ. The plaintiff alleged that Greaves had refused to return a dog which he had been training for the plaintiff, and he claimed possession of the adg,’or, in the alternative, £lO damages if possession could not be obtained. 'After hearing the evidence, the magistrate ordered that possession should be giveh to the plaintiff, and entered judgment for £5 damages if possession could not' bo obtained> with costs £3.iii, v; - .
