The series of interesting addresses on historical, matters in connection with the Maori race in the district was to have been resumed this evening: at the first meeting of the Tairawhiti Maori Association since the holiday period, but the gathering has been postponed until next week. The speaker for the occasion, is to bo Mr. ■R. W. Halbert, whose subject is “The Settlement at Haiti. ”
