FELL DOWN SLOPE
GIRL CLIMBER HURT (P«r Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. While making a descent from Mount Rolleston yesterday, one of a party of climbers, Bessie Lorimer, a young woman, fell down a steep slope, and was dashed against jagged rocks, suffering a broken ankle, a sprained wrist, and bruises. The rest of the party had an arduous task carrying her to Arthur Pass Hostel over rough country in the rain. The girl is progressing well.
