The special pictorial record of tho Olympic Gaines swimming, rowing and-diving duals is said to be alone well worth the price of admission. Family life—its joys and disappointments, its excitements, its human drama, .t , happy hours—all these are presented with facile directorial touches and skilful artistic strength in “Husband’s Holiday, an attraction featuring Clive Brook. Charlie Haggles, Vivienne Osborne, and Harry Banister, which is to be presented for tlie first time at the Regent Theatre to-morrow. A picture of families and for families, “Husband’s Holiday” gets off to a quick start, and holds its pulsating tempo for an hour and a-half of gripping, enchanting entertainment. Clive Brook is seen as the romanticminded husband who yields to the charms of a beautiful young woman, .luilette Comptoil.. With a last spark of fairmindedness he tells his wife, Vivienne Osborne, about the affair. He suggests Hat they get a divorce. Amazed and shocked, his wife is at her wits’ end. But she has courage enough to fell Brook that he may expect no divorce co operation from her. She brands the affair as a passing fancy, too trivial a tiling to wreck such a substantial institution as their marriage. That is the basis on which has been built one of the most interesting of domestic dramas. Vivienne Osborne bandies the principal feminine role. The supporting programme is good.
