AUSTRALIAN WOOL SALES (Received October 25, 3 p.rn.) MtISUANH, Oct, 25. At the wool sales, 10,000 halos were offered, chiefly merino. The market is firm, and 57 per cent, was sold. Japan, Italy, Germany, Trance, and Yorkshire wore operating actively. Scoured made to 2dd ; greasy, lid. At the Melbourne sales nearly 9CCO bales were, offered and met keen competition on the basis of prices ruling at the first series and at Adelaide last week.
