MISS F. E. lIINDMARSII A link with the early history of South Australia was severed with the passing awav of Aliss Florence Emily llindmarsli, 65, in Gisborne tin’s morning. The deceased, who came from Australia about three mouths ago and was staying with her niece. Mrs. (’. 11, Wells, Graham road, was the youngest daughter of the late Hear Admiral Sii .hdm 11 iiidmarsh. of Victor Harbor, (In' lirst Governor of South Australia The late Aliss 11iiidmarsli, who was in Gishornn last year for nine months, had been in good health until a few days ago ami her death this morning was unexpected. The only surviving member of the family is Mrs. S. Dolton, a sister, of ‘Dote,” Ikihiatua.

Mrs. Harriett Eva Ellison, an old resident of Napier, passed away on Wednesday at the ago of 78 years. Airs. Ellison, who was pre-deceased by her husband, Afr. Henry Ellison, was a sister of the late Very Rev. Dean Hovell, the first dean of the Napier Anglican Cathedral.
