MR. FURKERT’S SUCCESSOR
(Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, this day. It is understood that an official announcement will shortly ho made naming Mr. 0. J. McKenzie as permanent head of the Public Works Department in succession to Mr. F. W. Furkert. Mr. McKenzie is at present assistant Under-Secretary.
