UNEMPLOYED DEMONSTRATE

An unemployed demonstration marred Prince George s visit to Poplar to open the now wings of the Seamen’s Rest. A section of tho crowd previously attempted to rush the building, but were ejected, and tho gates closed. When tho Prince arrived there was seme booing and cries of ‘‘Wo want bread. You’ve got a motor; wo are starving.’'

A largo body of police arrived and maintained order, three arrests being made.
