C ow; 1 11 (Gisborne) beat Merrick (Masterton); Kaine (Gisborne) beat Martin (Musteiton) ; Fanning (Gisborne) beat Cheer (Hastings). Final: Cowan drew with McMahon (Gisborne). Welterweight.— Bull (Gisborne) beat Hulford (Napier) ; Smith (Gisborne] beat Martin (Gisborne). Semi-final : Bull beat Kami (Gisborne). Final : Smith beat Bull. Middleweight. Burton (Hastings) beat Horne (Gisborne).
