AUSTRALIAN MARKET RESTRICTIONS REMOVED (Elec. Tul. Copyright—United truss Assn.) SYDNEY, October 14. Fiji bananas on which there has hitherto been a heavy duty may now be shipped to Sydney and Melbourne under the. terms of the trade agreement between Britain and Australia _ affecting Crown Colonies, the Infill having been reduced from 8s 4d to 2s 6d per cental, the quantity to he limited to 40,000 rentals per year, which it is officially believed, will not interfere with the locally-grown banana trade. Queensland growers, however, are making a spirited protest. They declare that it savors of a political vendetta.
