COLLECTION OF PAYMENTS An announcement was made by tho l'l'iir.e Minister, the lit. Hon. CL W. Forbes, in Wellington on Thursday. that*/ arrangements had been made to - ’enable the State Advances Department's offices in Auckland to make weekly collections from mortgagors whose payments were in arrears. “By this means,” said Mr. Forbes, “it will he possible to keep arrears down to within reasonable bounds.” Replying to a question, Mr. Forbes said the actual details of the organisation associated with the work of collection had not vet- been finalised.
