BRITISH PRINCES' TOUR
SWEDISH VISIT ENDS IMPRESSED BY COUNTRY RELATIONS' WITH BRITAIN (British Official Wireless.) Roc. 10 a.m. RUGBY, Oct. 11. The Prince of Wales and Prince George have concluded their visit to Sweden. On the eve of their departure, the Prince of Wales, in a broadcast speech, expressed to the people of Sweden warm thanks for the friendly reception given to his brother and himself. He was much impressed by all ho had seen, hv the beauty of Sweden’s country and capital, and hv those aspects of industrial life which lie was able to inspect. Commenting on the widespread knowledge of the English language amongst all classes of (Sweden, he expressed the opinion that Swedes were wise to learn English, because it was becoming one of the best and easiest means of intercourse between nations. It was a great satisfaction to observe the growing tendency of Sweden towards commercial and cultural relations with Britain, which lie assured the Swedes Britain would reciprocate fully and warmly. King Gustav and several members .of the Swedish Royal Family were at tho station when the Princes left, as well as a great crowd.
The Princes are spending this evening at Gothenburg, before leaving at midnight for Maimo, where an aeroplane will he taken to Hamburg, Prince George will then fly to London, while the Prince of Wales will pay a short, private visit to Amsterdam, staying at the British Legation.
