GOVERNMENT APPROACHED
(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Hon. A. Hamilton to-day told a Maori deputation that he would confer with the Premier in regard to their request for the* Government to intervene .in the shearers’ dispute, and would give n reply later. The Maoris said they were at a disadvantage when it came to individual bargaining.
