DEMAND MAINTAINED SYDNEY. Aug. 30. At the wool sales, 8910 bales were offered and 8520 sold, also 2070 wore disposed of privately, amidst spirited competition. Values were distinctly in sellers’ favor, whilst skirtings were 5 per cent, dearer. The Continental demand was again an outstanding feature. Greasy merino made lCjil.'
