BETTER ATMOSPHERE
THE IRISH CONTROVERSY (British Official Wireless.) Ree. 2 p.m. RUGBY, Aug. 29. Mr. O’Kelly and 13 other members of Hie Free State delegation to OttawA reached Southampton this afternoon. In an interview j Air. O’lvelly referred to bis frequent informal conversations with Air. ,J. It. Thomas on the Irish question. He agreed with Air. Thomas that no door had been closed to peace, and, in fiis opinion, there was a much better atmosphere of friendliness as a result of the .deliberations.
