HAYFIELD BATTLEFIELD
GHABANNES (France), July 18. Scythes were used by a Chabannes family to settle a dispute over money matters. r The six members of the family—five limn and a,woman—were mowing a hayfield when the argument passed from words to deeds and the scythes they were using were turned against one another. ' , Three were killed end a fourth senously injured before hostilities were suspended. The two survivors have beeu arrested.
