ANOTHER ART UNION
LICENSE APPROVED POVERTY BAY TO BENEFIT (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, last; night. The Government lias approved a license being issued for a further £4OOO alluvial gold art union to financially aid a number of institutions whose funds have' been seriously depleted by the depression. The societies to benefit by the art union, which will be drawn on (September 24, are the following:— “Smith family,” or the Mayor’s fund for relief of distress in the four centres.
