£43,000 LIABILITIES
DEAD SYDNEY SOLICITOR SYDNEY, June 3. The liabilities of the late Arthur Bernard Davies, well-known Sydney solicitor, who recently committed suicide, were to-day disclosed at a meeting of the creditors of bis estate at £43,000. Davies’ assets were put down at LAW only (including office furniture ana library £100). Mr. Claude 11. Roach, public accountant, of Wynyard street, city, was appointed trustee to administer the estate. On the petition of the Community General Assurance Company, Ltd. _ (m liquidation), in respect of a final judgment of the Supremo Court for £lo,3Up, a sequestration order was made, m April last, against Davies’ estate, when Mr C. F. W. Lloyd was appointed official receiver, but'now that Mr.. Roach has been appointed trustee, ho will actminister the -entire estate.. The late Mr. Davies practised as_ a solicitor for 35 years, and was connected with several public companies, and investors.
