BRITISH BEER DUTY
REDUCTION NOT PAVORED LONDON, June 9. The House of Commons, by 3’ol votes to 71, rejected Sir William Wayland’s amendment to the Finance Bill to reduce the beer duty to 103 s per barrel from the present duty of 1345.
