“PERCH CLUB” FOR PILOTS
More than 10,000 successful landings on decks ot warships at sea have been made by British Naval pilots. Pilots with at least 100 successful landings to their credit quality lor membership in the “ Perch Club. ’ 'I he club badge is a representation of a perch with an undercarriage and tail, skid, while underneath is the motto, ‘ ‘ Perchance. ’ ’
Maggie Moore, succeeding Mr. J. C. Williamson in the character part ot John Stofel in “Struck Oil.” Five years ago he played old Tony in “The Student Prince.” and two years ago in the revivals of “Katinka ’ and ‘ Ihe Maid of the Mountains” in Melbourne.
