A. sequel to a level crossing accident 'which occurred on the evening of April 0, when a bus conveying a party of young people, to a dance at Tvaituna was struck by the mail tram from "Wellington, at Renall street, was beard in the Magistrate’s Court today, when the driver of the bus, .Tamos Thomas Rutherford, appeared before, Messrs. S. Ti. P. Prcc and C. M. Bowden. .T.’sP., charged with negligently driving a motor vehicle, thereby causing the death of Prank Mnirhead Gillespie, n passenger in tho bus. The accused pleaded not guilty, and was committed for trial at the next sitting of the Supreme. Court at Wellington. '
