In tie general disorder the Speaker * Mr. Burke, threatened to put the standing .orders into execution. i Mr, Henry asked the Minister if he i subscribed to the criticism of the High Cour{ that had been delivered by the Minister of Agriculture, Mr. Dunn, at Ryde, the previous day, in which ho said the rejection by the High Court of the appeal by the Government Of New South Wales against the Enforcement Act was a political decision iwhich would stand to the eternal shame'of the High Court. It was contemptible. Mr. Lamar,o replied that the saddest feature of the High Court decision • was not the temporary embarrassment that it might cause the Government of NeTv South Wales, but that the ) people, when they thoroughly understood the• decision, would hold the, judiciary of Australia. m the same position as it was now held by lawyers.
