STORMS IN AUSTRALIA
SYDNEY AGAIN STRUCK SERIOUS VICTORIAN FLOODS (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Brest Assn.) (Received April 6, noon) SYDNEY, April 6. A violent storm again struck the city and suburbs last night, and low-lying areas were soon flooded again. Vivid lightning lit the sky. Passengers on an electric train at Stanmore had a bad scare when what appeared to be a fireball burst over the train. Tram services were interrupted o\ving to the rails being flooded.
Melbourne reports state that the floods in the Darriinan and Giffard areas are still serious. Seven inches of rain fell in tho latter plaeo in five hours. Fencing lias l>cer. washed away for miles, and the loss of stock is heavy.
