An important proposal for a. “modified moratorium 0 on mortgages was oiiq of the striking features of the Speech from the Tlnone at the opening of the Ontario Legislature. The moratorium is to be for one year and cover payment of principal. It is intended to prevent foreclosures in ex isting- circumstances.
