GISBORNE SUCCESSES Despite Hie most unfavorable weather which ruled for the open! rtf? of the annual music and elocutionary competitions at the Nattier Drill Hall on Thursday night there was a stood attendance present and the duality of tile performances proved exceedingly pleasing. The competitions were continued on Good Friday. Jiradfield, Gisborne, 7."> points, cdtial for second. Sacred solo, gentlemen.—Mr. Athol Allan, Gisborne, highly commended. Test recital, ladies. —Miss S. Bradlicld. Gisborne, very highly commended.
