POVERTY BAY TOURNEY FIRST ROUNDS PLAYED The-first rounds in both divisions of the Poverty Bay (101 l Club's Easter tournament were played on Saturday afternoon, the first 16 players who qualified on Saturday morning competing for the Easter Handicap Cup, and the second 16 entering for the handicap tournament. This morning the second rounds of both divisions Vere to be played, and the semi-finals will be contested this afternoon, the finals being set down for to-morrow morning. A medal match also will be played to-morrow, and the tournament wilt conclude in the afternoon with a four-bull bogey handicap, tor which competitors must arrange their own partners and fours. Results on Saturday in connection with the first round of the Easter Handicap Cup tournament were ns follow— :

Barker, 3 and 2; J. S'. Burns-Graham beat I). Barry, 2 up; N. Parker beat G. G. Fraser, 4 and 3; M. Bright beat I). W. McKeague, 3 and 1.
