PLAN GROWS IN BRITAIN BIRMINGHAM, .Tnn. 10. It will soon he possible to walk from one end of Britain to the other, staying at a “Youth Hostel” every night, according to plans discussed ill the an nual meeting of the Birmingham branch of the association. The rapid growth of the movement since it was started last year was outlined, and the following projects of the Birmingham branch were announced, to be put into operation as soon as opportunity offered:— Completion of the “chain” to North Wales: establishment., with assistance of a North Wales group, of hostels on the Welsh coast; assisting of the Rugby group of the association to o'pen an additional hostel at Warwick or Kenilworth; provision of hostels, and development of a chain of hostels in the Clun, Shropshire, district--)! beautiful but little known walking region of the Welsh border.
