GANG FEUD IN NEW YORK
SIX PERSONS SHOT OBJECTIVE OP ATTACK MISSED NEW YORK, Feb. 2. The Tend in the Bronx between (lie beer-running gangs led by Vincent Coll and Arthur (“Dutch Schultz”) Elegenlieiincr, which, in the course .of the last two years lias provided several murders, flared up again last night, when five men armed with revolvers burst in upon a dinner party of Coil’s adherents and shot; down every one present. Their shots killed twu men ami one woman outright, and seriously wounded another 'woman and two other men*
j The attack was entirely unexpected, and none of the diners was armed. 'The.assailants easily made their escape after the shooting, for, although the uproar had aroused the whole neighborhood, nobody could be found who was willing to take the risk of giving the police any information about them, j Coll, who seems to havo been the i real objective of the attack, was to ; have been at the dinner, but was lucky enough to have been delayed, and only arrived on the scene after the shooting was all over.
