ST. HE LIEU , Feb. 4. The Jersey States for Legislature) passed a bill to-duy imposing tariffs on all foreign goods except those of the British Empire. Jersey, one of the Channel islands off the north-west coast of France, belonging to Britain, has a separate legal existence and is not hound by acts of the. English Parliament. The Legislature’s action brings Jersey into line with the tariff policy being worked out by Great Britain.
