The latest version of the powder case is made to look like a pocket watch, about two inches in diameter. One side of the case is covered with a low-relief design in silver on enamel —u the dansanl scene on a green background, or silver minarets rising in a. blue skv sprinkled with silver stays. There are two compartment.*) in the watch-vanity, one for powder and one for rouge. Mach is fitted with a metal sifter disc with minute perforations. Many of the. latest handlings cany a small watch on the outside, fastened to the bag by a strap of leather to mutch or contrast with the material of the bag.
