JAPAN WANTS A VISIT (Pur Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. One outcome of the’ recent visit to Japan by the Canadian Rugby team is that the Japanese are eager to have a visit from New Zealand. A icfiiiest to this effect lias been made through u Canadian official on behalf of the Japanese authorities in a letter to Mr S. S. Dean, president of the New Zealand Hughv Union. l! is suggested by Mr Woodward, of the Canadian union, that as a preliminary to international matches, Auckland or Wellington be asked to send a team to Japan.
