TRAGEDY AVERTED
TRAIN-WRECKING PLOT MORE INDIAN TERRORISM DELHI, Dec. IS. An attempt to wreck the Debar Dun express was foiled by signal repairmen 10 minutes-before the express was due near Stiarnmpur, Bengal. A number of fishplates and bolts had been removed from a rail with the intention of causing the train to run straight into the back of a cutting. It is suspected that a terrorist outrage was intended. A parcels express train was derailed from an unknown cause near Bombav. A railwayman was killed and four passengers hurt.
