FINLAND SEEKS AID OF THE YARD

LONDON. Oct. 12. Scotland Yard received yesterday one of the strangest requests in its long history. Tho Finnish Government sought the aid of the famous detective organisation in solving the mystery of a series of mutilations of bodies in various ]felsingfors cemeteries. The bodies were thought to have been exhumed surreptitiously by meiii-hei-s of a secret organisation practising “black magic.” Operations of the organisation extended outside of binland, which led to the Helsingfors' Government appealing not only to Scotland Yard, but to th'e police of several foreign countries.
