MANCHURIAN CRISIS CONFIDENCE RETURNING SHANGHAI, Nov. 30. The withdrawal of ttie Japanese troops from Chinese territory into the south Manchurian railway zone continues. Even Tsitsihar is reported to have been evacuated and other withdrawals are expected gradually as conditions permit, until the status quo of September 19 is reached. There was a sensational stock market rise here to-day consequent on the military developments and the demand on tho Chinese bond markets was such that the officials were compelled to close shortly after opening. A majority of the stocks showed big gains.

REPORTS CONFIRMED JAPANESE MOVEMENTS TDK 10, Nov. 30. A press message to-day states that, in conformity with the Japanese Government's declared policy to avoid hostilities, the Japanese forces to day began withdrawing towards the railway zone and it is hoped that, within a few days they will all have been withdrawn within the zone. The search for a formula satisfactory to Kith the Japanese and the Chinese delegates and which will terminate hostile acts, and clear up the Manchurian situation, is continuing, but was somewhat retarded by the Chinese expectations of a Japanese move towards Oilingliow.
