MEESKE LOSES TO PINTO (Per Pres** Association.) WELLINGTON, Inst night. The wrestling bout between Stanley Pinto (14s£, *3lb.) and Billj' Meeske 13st. 31b) ended suddenly. Shortly after the start of the fifth round, Meeske, who lin’d gained the first fall ib the fourth round after a series of flying tackles, dived out of the ring when tackling his man and was unable to continue. Meeske was cheered loudly throughout tlic bout, while &nto * was hooted from the moment he entered the ring. Meeske did most of the attacking and was well ahead when lie obtained his first fall. Pinto was in a bad way at the start of - round five,- and he looked to be beaten when Meeske went out of ' the ring. mammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmamammmmam
