BRITISH FILM QUALITY TORONTO, Sept. 17. The increasing superiority of British motion pictures lias led to the establishment in England of branch United States studios, according to Mr. F. S. Rovell, Canadian representative for British International Pictures. “Hollywood is alarmed,” he commented. “The success of British pictures resulted in the determination of leading American producers to establish branch studios in England as a final attempt to retain their hold on the British market,” he said.
