A (lance to raise funds for repairs to tho maraea at Wlmreponga was held at Uirulmrarna under the auspices of the committee; and £l3 0s 3d was collected, There was a record attendance. Credit is due to the committee for tho efficient way In which they handled the large crowd. Music was .supplied by Harrison Brothers’ orchestra, and Air. S. l iana was M.C. A dance "at Tuparoa held in aid of the cricket and orchestra funds was poorly attended owing to residents attending the Hiruharama dance. The Tuparoa orchestra supplied the music. An early lamb born at Mr. B. Alc- ’ Clutcbio’s farm at Ruatoria has six legs.
