CARS IN COLLISION

SEVERAL PERSONS INJURED (For Press Association.) OPQTIKI, this day. A motor accident occurred at 2 a.m. mi Sunday when a baby ear containing Mr. F. Walsh and his wife and daughter, of Onelmnga, collided with a car driven by Mr. IT. Collier, of Kntnrere, near Kukumoa hill, two miles from Opotiki. The baby 'ear was tipped and thr.evil into n drain containing sft of water. Mrs. Walsh was badly cut over the eye and sustained concussion. Miss Walsh was badly cut on the head and is in hospital. Four passengers in the second car, and Mr. Walsh, suffer ed from shock, and bruises. Both cars were extensively damaged.
