SPECTACULAR PLANS

ROUND WORLD FLIGHT ITALIANS’ PROJECT (Received October 23, 3 p.m?) ROME, Oct. 22. A spectacular round-the-world formation flight by 24 Italian seaplanes, under tho leadership of General Balbo, is to be attempted in November. The projected route will bo Rome, Bpiarna, across the Atlantic to New York, thence south to Panama, up the west coast of the United States to Vancouver, thence via the Aleutian Islands to Japan, southern China, Philippines, India, Suez, and back to Rome. Each machine will carry a crew of four, all of whom will be bachelors.
