THE MARTON MEETING BIG HANDICAP TO HABIT (Per Press Association,) MARTON, last night. Tho Marton Jockey Club’s spring meeting was held to-day in good weather. The track was in excellent order and the attendance fair. The totalisatoi' handled £4916, compared with £12,029 10s for the meeting last year. Additional results were : Marton Handicap: 3 Habit (Voitre), 1; 1 Count Palatine (L. G. Morris), 2; 5 Royal Black (Broughton), 3. Also ran: 2 Pahu, 4 Briar Root, 6 Monsogne. Won by half a head and a neck. Time, 2.9 4-5. Spring Hack Handicap: 1 Gibraltar (L. G. Morris), 1; 3 Thrasher (McDowell), 2; 2 Nightmare, 3. Also ran: 4 Grand Jury, 5 Autumn Dawn. Won by a length‘and three lengths. Time, 1.52 2-5. Railway Handicap: 3 Trojan Melody (Broughton), 1; 1 Arisus (H. Gray), 2; 4 E quit ant (K. Voitre)! 3. Also ran: '2 Acora, 5 Sight Draft, Won by a bead and a length. Time, 1.14 1-5. Farewell Hack: 2 Interluctor (Gray) 1; 4 Navaho (Reed), 2; 1 Leisure (B. IT. Morris), 3. Also ran: 7 Paratoo, 3 Sanguine King, 9 Boxt, 7 Jean Ladosio, 5 Cereal, 11 Chief Line, 6 Sir Gallant, 10 Top Flier. Won by a length and threequarters of a length. Time, 1.2 4-5.
