BRITAIN AND INDIA BENGAL EXTREMIST’S VIEWS CALCUTTA, Oct. 21. Mr. Sen Gupta, ex-Mayor of Calcutta, and loader of the congress party in Bengal, interviewed on the eve of sailing for England with his English wife, spoke of a coming war between Britain and India, and a renewed boycott of everything' British, and boasted that Bengal would prove to India that self-government was not even a question of months or weeks, but of hours ‘ Mr. Sen Gupta served several terms of imprisonment.! as a result of his extremist activities.
