COMPETITION CLOSED (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Yesterday the competition conducted by the Post and Telegraph Department for the designing of a new issue of postage and revenue stamps, ranging in 15 denominations, from Ad to 3s, 1 closed, but actually,’ most of the packages of tho designs had come to hand a good deal earlier. 'Hundreds of designs were received from all parts of the, world, and (ho Government will set up a board to select designs for Ihe different issues.
