New Zealand’s denial that she is opening trade relations with Russia refers to a statement recently circulated by a section of the provincial press that the Soviet had agreed not to send to New Zealand goods competing with those made in the Dominion of New Zealand, if New Zealand would agree lo purchase Russian petrol and oil.
